An experiment involving Wal-Mart, requiring little thought and lots of standing around.
I almost got away with a whole night at the cash register tonight. But with 45 minutes left in my shift, they sent me off to zone the Christmas section, which is the absolutely best section in the whole store to zone, so I didn't mind.

This started as a thought experiment that found itself evolving into a sociological one. My name is Jonny, and I work at Wal-Mart. This is an account of my time at the company. Most details will remain anonymous, including names and the location of my store. Please feel free to ask me questions about anything I fail to touch upon. I want to understand what makes Wal-Mart tick, and why so many people hate it so very much. And if you're here, maybe you do, too.
