I got the call today. And I go in for an interview tomorrow morning at 10:15. And I have no idea what to expect. I really hope I get a job in the home entertainment section, with the cds and tvs and home stereo equipment. I do not want to be a cashier. Please not cashier. Anything but cashier. Anything.

This started as a thought experiment that found itself evolving into a sociological one. My name is Jonny, and I work at Wal-Mart. This is an account of my time at the company. Most details will remain anonymous, including names and the location of my store. Please feel free to ask me questions about anything I fail to touch upon. I want to understand what makes Wal-Mart tick, and why so many people hate it so very much. And if you're here, maybe you do, too.
